In Loving Memory of Sky “Skybug”
Today we say goodbye to our beautiful Sky, lovingly known as Skybug. For more than 11 years, Sky filled our family’s lives with unconditional love, happiness, laughter, and memories that we will carry in our hearts forever.

Sky wasn’t just our pet—she was family. She was a loyal companion, a protector, a best friend, and such an important part of our home.

Sky loved car rides, being around the water, and playing catch. She was always ready for an adventure as long as her family was beside her. One of her sweetest traditions was sharing Cheetos with her Dad—a simple little moment that became one of those memories we will now treasure forever.

One of Skybug’s favorite games was hide-and-seek. You could find the best hiding place you could think of, but somehow Sky would always find you. Giving up was never an option for her.

Sky loved her family deeply. She was always ready to protect the people she loved. She would look out the window, patiently waiting and watching for her family to come home. And when we finally walked through the door, her happiness reminded us that there is nothing quite like being loved by a dog.

She knew when we needed comfort. She stayed close during difficult moments and celebrated the happy ones right beside us. She never needed words to tell us she loved us—we could see it in the way she waited for us, followed us, protected us, played with us, and simply wanted to be wherever her family was.

Our home will feel different without the sound of her paws, without seeing her looking through the window, and without Skybug waiting for another game, another car ride, another Cheeto, or simply another moment together.

Eleven years could never have been enough.

Skybug, thank you for choosing us as your family. Thank you for protecting us, making us laugh, comforting us, and loving us with your whole heart. You gave us a lifetime of memories, and although saying goodbye hurts more than words can express, we are grateful for every single day we were blessed to have you.

You may no longer be waiting at the window for us to come home, but you will forever have a home in our hearts.

Run free, beautiful Skybug. Play all the catch you want, splash in the water, enjoy endless car rides, and save a few Cheetos for Dad.
