Bella Kirby

Bella was a lab mix with soft, intelligent eyes, and a beautiful brindle coat. She was a gentle and loving dog who relished patrolling the fence line, taking rides in the car, and simply laying by her mama. When the doorbell rang, her deep and lively bark let the caller know we were very well protected; but she was always happy to meet whoever we let in. She loved to run around and greet each of the grandkids when they came to visit, and was especially fond of our cat, Izzy. She was a integral part of our family for twelve years. In 2019, she began to get steadily weaker as she battled a brain tumor, but she never lost her mischievous ways or tired of chasing the birds she could never catch. When her tumor was discovered, the vet gave her only about six months, but she fought to live on for well over a year. Her time with us is now over, but we take comfort in the fact that she goes to rejoin her sisters, Luna and Regan. Rest in peace, sweet girl. We will miss you everyday, and we will always love you.
