Dutchess Braman

May 3, 2012 ~ April 25, 2025
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved companion, Dutchess, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on April 25, 2025—just days shy of her 13th “I got you day”. For over a decade, she was not just a dog, but my confidant, protector, and very best friend.
Dutchess’s journey began on the streets of Omaha, Nebraska, where she was rescued by the Nebraska Humane Society. From there, she became part of my life and heart—through every chapter, every mile, and every challenge. Her resilience, loyalty, and unmistakable spirit earned her the nickname “Boss Lady,” and she lived up to it every single day.
To Dutchess: thank you for 13 unforgettable years. You were truly one of a kind. Fierce, funny, and full of love—you were the heart of my home and the soul beside me. I will carry your memory with me always.
To the dwellers of the Rainbow Bridge, consider yourselves warned—the Boss Lady has arrived.
Until we meet again, my sweet girl.
Love always,
Winter
Rest easy Duch, and I’m sure I will see you again one day :) Maybe I’ll bring a kong full of peanut butter for ya ❤️
DUTCHESS*
Love, Rich
