Luna Gonzales

May 27, 2009 ~ January 4, 2025
On Saturday January 4th we said goodbye to our family doggy. Luna Gonzales was with us for over 15 years. A month ago we knew it was time to say goodbye so we had a vet appointment scheduled for Friday Jan 10th. Our sweet little old lady friend knew it was going to be too difficult and instead she decided to say goodbye herself. Luna was surrounded by her family as she said goodbye. We held her and loved on her until her final breathe. Luna passed away at home surrounded by her family. We are thankful for all the memories we shared with her. My husband, our sons and I picked her up together and brought her home on July 2009. We are thankful that we were all able to be with her, say goodbye and take her to rest together. She also leaves behind a four legged friendly companion of four years Buster who will miss her dearly. Luna went blind when she was 2 years old and yet was the most protective and sweetest dog to us. She truly loved so unconditionally and adapted to new environments. Her sweetness and gentleness was evident to all who met her. That was of course after she barked at anyone walking through the front door first. Thank you my sweet friend. I will miss our walks, our cuddle time and how no matter how hard my day was your sweet greetings always made my day better. You were a lady to the end. I will love you forever. My Luna. My Looney Tine. My Tune. My Little Old Lady Friend. Rest in Paradise. 🌙🌈🐶
