Oakly Gonzales
January 26, 2015 ~ November 28, 2025
Oakly had a personality all his own. He was a little bougie baby who preferred the comforts of home over the great outdoors, always choosing a soft spot on the couch over any grand adventure outside. What he lacked in enthusiasm for nature, he more than made up for in enthusiasm for snacks. French fries and cheese were his absolute favorites, and the sheer joy in his eyes at the crinkle of a food bag could brighten even my darkest days.
As a support dog, Oakly gave me far more than companionship. He gave me strength when I felt weak, steadiness when the world felt overwhelming, and love so pure it felt like a lifeline. He always knew when I needed comfort — leaning into me, settling beside me, or simply watching me with those gentle eyes that seemed to understand everything.
He brought peace, laughter, and warmth into my life in a way no words can fully capture. His presence made every day easier, softer, and more full of love. Though his time here feels impossibly short, the impact he had on my heart will last forever.
