Spanky Garza Gonzales
October 11, 2013 ~ June 24, 2026
Spanky was born on October 11, 2013, in a small Southside home I lived at in San Antonio, Texas. He was the cutest out of the 4 boys 1 girl litter so I knew he was mine forever. The first few years Spanky just shadowed his dad (Prince). After Prince passed Spanky took on the role of the man of the house. He was so protective over me, he never let me out of his sight. I wanna say he was 3 years old when I found out this boy had some hidden talent, he could sing on command. He would sing I love you if I really got into it with him. He had so much energy and always brought smiles to everyone who met him. In 2022 he won 5th place in the 2022 El Rey Fido Royal Court hosted by the San Antonio Humane Society. He was awarded the title “KNIGHT OF THE ROYAL COURT”. Those 2 weeks were filled with so much to do me and Spanky had a blast, being on a float representing the Humane Society in the River Parade was the best, but him singing for the morning host of KENS 5 on GREAT DAY SA was priceless.
Just thinking of these memories makes me sad and my heart empty because he’s not here. I’m gonna miss him forever but I’m gonna have hope and faith that I will see him and his dad waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge one day…
RUN FREE MY SWEET BABY…
I love you Spanky, me and Molly miss you so much. Now you’re all better and not sick. I’ll see you at the Rainbow Bridge baby with your dad. ♥️Mommy
I have memories with Spanky. I loved how he would sing out loud. My Sophie is going to really miss you. May you cross the rainbow bridge and join your daddy Prince.
