It seems like it wasn’t too long ago that I rescued you and brought you home. In 3 very short years you brought so much unconditional love and comfort into my heart. A fiercely loyal and gentle soul. Mommy’s going to miss all the little things you did. I’m gonna miss the way you would snuggle with me in the middle of the night. I’m gonna miss the way you would sit on my lap as I was doing my makeup on the floor. I’m going to miss hearing your paws on the floor as you walked. I’m going to miss the way you snuck in little kisses and hugged me back while mommy was sleeping.
But most of all, I’m going to miss the love you showed me everyday, even when you were tired.
Your last days were spent doing what you loved most, cuddling with momma.
I got to hold you and tell you how much I loved you as you closed your eyes for the last time and I hope it brought you comfort.
