Blackie was a unique, loving, caring and beautiful soul. He befriended me in 2004 and I took him in as my best buddy. When my spouse Garrett Punch came to be with me, he adopted Blackie as his favorite buddy too. He was always with us around our home and was, without a doubt, the most special friend I could have ever forged a human bond with in all my 62 years on this Earth. His death has left both of us completely devastated. Being here in the house will never be the same without him here. Wherever we were together, he was right there between us. Always curious, intelligent, caring, understanding and sometimes a bit naughty, he filled our lives with the joy, happiness and unconditional love that only a creation of a loving God could do.
Until we meet again beyond the stars my little buddy and Garrett’s “Little One”. Daddy and your uncle Garrett love you forever and ever – xoxoxoxo!

Blackie was so lucky to have you Eric and Punch too. He’s now pain free and waiting for you across the Rainbow Bridge. I think of him running around with and hanging out with my sweet girls Jennifur and Jet and my boys Max and Tiger while they wait for us. Still waiting to wake up from this bad dream, but unfortunately, this is real. My Little One, as I called Blackie, was more human than most people I know. Quite a character, and that tail! That tail had to be over 2 feet long! 10 years together flew by! He filled a hole in my heart with his love. Miss his physical presence immensely!! Eric & I have never been without him. The house is darker, emptier, and thee silence is deafening without him.
