Bruiser Ayala
Bruiser came to us in a roundabout way in the summer of 2010. We were in Community Pet Health vet hospital picking up dog food and Dr. Kyzar had two cats in the waiting room – Bruiser and Jack. They were senior cats and their owner had surrendered them due to cancer. We had just lost one of our cats and decided to adopt them both. Bruiser was 22 pounds, solid black short hair and green eyes. He was the most laid-back cat I have ever known, and also very shy. We have dogs, birds and other cats but he enjoyed being quiet on the couch, on our bed or in closets. He was very friendly and non-aggressive. He loved his dinner time and beloved by my late Mother, who lived with us until her death in 2015.
We miss him……we are thankful he died at home amongst his familiar surroundings and pet friends.
Rest in peace, Bruiser.
