Bully Boy Swayze - Van Tilburg

bully boy swayze - van tilburg

Bully Boy, a 23 year old feral cat went to the Rainbow Bridge on May 26, 2017. Who was Bully Boy – He was the King of the subdivision, fed over the years by many neighbors, master at eluding feral cat traps, arrogant, a prolific talker who never allowed anyone to touch or pet him. What happened to Bully – well in May of 2016 he was in a terrific cat fight and did not win. Near death, he sought shelter from those he knew would protect and help him. After surviving, he decided he liked being petted and became a loving house cat in Joy Swayzes home. Bully had a lot of health issues due to age and his prior lifestyle. It became the humane thing to do to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge. He was cared for by many, but particularly by neighbors and friends Kathy Van Tilburg and Joy Swayze who came to his rescue and love and miss him. Bully Boys ashes will be scatter around Kathy Van Tilburgs fish pond where he spent many hours.
