Buster Pennington

buster pennington

Buster Pennington, our wonderful little Yorkie, came into the world on November 1, 2001 and jumped into the arms of Our Lord on July 25, 2013. Buster came to our family as a rescue in 2003 after his first Dad died. He and his “sister”, DeeDee, joined us at the same time. Buster was lived as a middle child of five “brother and sisters” who looked for several days for him after he left us. Sugar, DeeDee, Bandit, and Bridgette are still saddened at his departure which caught all of us by surprise. His Dad, Jerry, and I miss him terribly as do all others who came to know our waggy-tailed, rolly-polly little boy. Buster loved to chase down frogs! He played a great game of fetch–although he really would have rathered not giving you back the toy he just retrived! He was a champion at tug-of-war and barking to protect our backyard. Any visitor could count on receiving a welcome bark, kisses to whatever body part he could reach, and an intent gaze from him which indicated he was listening with all of his heart to whatever you were talking about. Buster would share his feet kisses with all who would sit still long enough to enjoy them! He loved to eat–anything! He became such an enjoyer of food that he could talk anyone into sharing with him by his beautiful “begging” eyes and his charming whimper. There will never be another Buster because the Lord created only one cutest, stuffed animal like Buster. He was greatly loved and is enormously missed. We can’t waited to hold him again at rainbow bridge and spend eternity with our fantastic little boy
