To our sweet Chloe,
When she was sick, she smiled … anyway. When she was scolded, she loved …. anyway. When she was scared, she wagged her tail … anyway. When she was unsure, she followed … anyway. When her bones grew old and arthritic, she ran and played … anyway. When the weather was gloomy, she barked in happiness … anyway. When she was out-sized, she was brave … anyway. When she was ignored, she waited patiently … anyway. When she was mad, she licked and kissed … anyway. When others faltered, she was loyal … anyway. When she was tired, she remained vigilant…anyway. When she was sad, she loved life … anyway.
But when she was happy, she smiled, she loved, she wagged, she followed, she ran, she barked, she was brave, she was patient, she licked, she was loyal, she was vigilant … in short, she loved life.
No one ever taught my beloved little dog these things. But, she taught them to me…anyway.
Momma and Daddy miss you Punkin. 17 years was not long enough to show you how much we love you.
