Clint Rochester

Clint came into our lives December of 2011 and he was thought to be about 8 years old at the time. Nobody knows for sure, though, because he was a rescue dog. We had just moved to Iowa a few months before and decided our pup, Lucy, needed a friend. He was mostly blind when we got him and it wasn’t long after that he lost all of his sight…once we moved to Texas, he also seemed to be losing his hearing and much of his sanity. In the 18 months or so that we have been here, he has had to have surgery on his ear twice because he was so allergic to San Antonio. When Lucy got Cushings Disease, we decided to let Clint go over the Rainbow Bridge with her so that she could guide him along. I really like the idea of her taking her brother across the bridge and introducing him to the brother and sister she lost along the way. We didn’t have him long but we will miss Clint greatly…even his snoring and whining :)
