Cuni Glubka

Cuni came to our back yard as an adult feral cat in late 2015/early 2016 with his buddy Cali.  Over the years, he became battle scarred and was injured regularly as a fierce, fearless, feral Tom Cat.  It wasn’t until 5 years after feeding him that he trusted me enough to pet him in my small bathroom while he was healing after undergoing neutering and dental surgery.  Since then, he purred regularly when I petted him while feeding him.  He finally learned to trust me after many, many years.  When I moved in December 2021, I brought him and Cali to live with me at my new home.  He learned to trust me even more as we spent hours watching TV, cuddling, petting, and cleaning.  Despite the extremely hard life a feral cat lives, he was still a sweet, gentle kitty that truly loved to be petted by me and my daughter.  Cuni died in my arms after a long battle with lymphoma on Mother’s Day 2023.  He crossed the Rainbow Bridge and left a huge hole in my heart..  I pray he was met by my sister and cat Flaco, dog Skeeter, and cat Gordo to cross into Heaven.  I pray he is once again laying in green grass in the sunshine that he loved so much.  I will always miss and love you my sweet Cuni.  My heart is once again broken after losing you but I would do it all over again just for the love you allowed me to share with you.
