Daisy Cruz-Gibbs

Daisy Lou came into our lives from the Diamond Dachshund Rescue/Animal Defense League. She was no bigger than my hand and was starting her young life with a broken leg and ringworm. She healed quickly and we know why she was a fighter! Tenacious, spunky and always acting 10x larger than her little body. She brought a ton of love and laughter into our home. The last couple of years she was battling pulmonary issues and finally succumbed on 2.20.17. She had a wonderful, caring veterinarian Dr. Richard Kline at Kitty Hawk Animal Hospital who gave tirelessly of his knowledge and expertise during the last couple of years and we are eternally grateful for the extra time we got with Daisy. Our hearts have grown so much bigger with Daisy and now they have a big piece missing without her. She was and will always be our little princess. We will always love you Princesa!!
