“My Protector and Best Friend”
For fourteen years,
Debo stole our hearts by bringing unconditional love and joy to our home.
Debo was a one – of – kind puppy. He was indestructible, a protector, friend, loyal companion and most of all he was FAMILY.
Debo loved cats, which is probably why he adapted the “9 lives” stereotype. He was hit by a car and immediately got up and chased the car. He was fine by the way. His perseverance went so far that he survived jumping out the RV window while we were on the highway going 70 mph. He was also fine, got right back up and sat in the front seat the rest of the drive. He always ended up getting his way.
Debo never allowed us to feel alone. Following us around every room we moved to. Trying to squeeze in between our legs like he was a small dog, while washing the dishes. He was always gentle as we started adding little ones into our family. He remained stoic in the face of sticky fingers laying beside him and a wild puppy that doesn’t know personal space. In all our memories he was right beside us protecting us in any way he knew how. We are so glad we got the opportunity to grow up with him. Seeing him grow from a fierce and wild puppy to an old man that acted like nothing in the world could stop him from walking around the neighborhood.
We have been so blessed to have shared his life with him, we can truly say he lived his life to the fullest extent. Debo will be truly missed and never forgotten. Our memories of him and with him will last forever. We know his Uncle Angel is giving him all the lovings.

BEBO to grandma , when you were growing up and the little ones were wondering around you , grandma was so intimidated by your size and kind of breed you were. You had me really fooled as you were as gentle, as gentle as can be . You protected your family with those LOUD scary sounds BARK BARK !! But that’s all they were , scary. You would wonder off to view the neighborhood, and there we went in search of your curious self, WHY ? Because we loved you as you loved us. BEBO, I will forever miss you waiting by the window to come in . Forever missed, Forever loved….. rest now 😔
