Ellie Mae was a Sable Merle & White AKC registered Shetland Sheepdog Pedigree of Classic’s Chosen Protege.
Born in Boerne, TX on July 21, 2012 Ellie succumbed to heart disease on May 10, 2021 at the age of 8 years old.
Our furry canine was also known as Ellie, Bubble Butt, Ellie Belly, Smelly Ellie (when she needed grooming), Nosey Rosie, and Sister.
Ellie Mae was proceeded in death by Ranger the Border Collie, Mimi the tortoiseshell cat, Parker an American short-hair black, and farm cat Meow.
Ellie Mae leaves behind her humans Simon & Letina Morales III. Fur sisters Gata and Onyx and fur cousins Chloe and Blanca Ortiz; Max, Kiwi, and Ruby Streams. Fur friends Nanook and Blue Garcia, Chance and Tyson Rivera, Ziva Arredondo and many humans who fed her table treats when they came to visit.
Ellie was loved and cared for by many including Dr. Angel Tapia who was first to examine and recommend she join our family.
We are thankful to the techs and wonderful staff at Animal Crossing Veterinary Hospital in Floresville who provided excellent care for her most of her life including Dr. Glover, Dr. Rode and Dr. Clark. Ellie’s favorite friend was RoxAnne who was kind and always greeted Ellie upon each visit.
Every girl likes to shop and Ellie was no exception, her favorite store was Furbaby, owned by the personable Brooke Busch. Brooke photographed Ellie on many occasions using custom backdrops. Each visit Brooke made puppuccino’s for Ellie Mae to enjoy in the car. Our friends at Clip n’ Tails in La Vernia kept Ellie Mae groomed and always looking her best.
Ellie Mae is missed by many and will remain forever in our hearts.
