Famous Martinez

How can I start to describe my best friend Famous? He was loyal, lovable and hated thunderstorms! I adopted him from my daughter after she got married and moved away. At first I was reluctant to take him, but in the end I’m glad I did. Sadly his life was taken from a car right in front of my own eyes. No dog lover should ever have to experience that. However I’m grateful for the 5 years we cherished together even though our time was cut short unexpectedly. Just a month before this tragic incident I experienced I had to put my first beloved dog of 13 years down due to heart problems. Since that day Famous was never the same, he was just as depressed as I was. Tiny was always by his side when Famous was growing up. I never realized how close Famous was to Tiny until we had put him down. It broke my heart to see him like that. In the end they say “Everything happens for a reason” I want to believe that but having my two babies taken away from me within a month of each other kills me. The only thing that gives me peace is to know that they are both together once again just like they were before. Until we meet again you both will always remain in my heart!
