Fergus Lawler

Fergus was born in Watertown New York. She was rescued off a busy road with her sister Doolin when she was only a few months old. Fergus lived in New York, Wyoming, and Texas and she traveled all over the country. Fergus was a very serious and expressive dog. She loved to ride in the car, and spent a lot of time looking out the window so that she always knew where she was going and where she had been. Fergus was a leader and was quick to report if something needed to be address with one of her siblings or with something in the house. One time when I got home from work, Fergus cried non-stop until I realized that she wanted me to find the water hose in the back yard that had sprung a leak and was flowing everywhere. Fergus was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in March 2007. She was very brave and fought the cancer for almost a whole year. She is survived by her friends Shorn, Liffey, Mali, George, Killarney, Harriet and Snickers. We miss you so much Fergus! Thank you for being my best friend, you gave me more strength, support and happiness than you will ever know.
