October 1, 2014 ~ November 18, 2022
Gringo “sweet little angel boy” Davila left this world unexpectedly in the early morning of November 18, 2022. He put us to bed and loved on us for the last time, as he knew it was his time to join the angels.
The story of Gringo became when his daddy was leaving a friend’s home, and saw a fluffy white ball of fur looking at him with “take me home” eyes. His daddy’s friend’s dog had just had maltipoo puppies, and this little angel boy knew who he wanted his new daddy to be. From there, the two of them became the best of friends and did life together. Gringo was the best companion. He loved to play with his squeaky toys, he loved his car rides, and most of all he loved to sing – he had the BEST voice and knew how to do it on queue.
In mid 2020, Gringo’s daddy began a new journey with his now fiancé, who worked from home during and after the pandemic. She got to be a stay at home dog mom (while working, of course), and was able to spend her days with Gringo and his sister Bella the pitty, who now misses him very much. It was a blessing to be able to build a solid foundation and trust with Gringo boy, as he became our protector while his daddy was at work.
Gringo, we will miss you and love you forever, bub – jeep rides are not the same, early mornings making breakfast are not the same because you are not there to wait for food to fall, daddy misses you taking off his socks for him after work, and there is no one there to stand watch or lay at my feet while mama works. Until we meet again, sweet angel boy. We never knew love the way you loved us and we are forever changed. We hope and pray you are being spoiled and loved by our grandparents in heaven.
Love- Daddy (Albert), Mommy (Nicole), Bella (pitty sister), and Kitty (the cat
