Hoggle Gonzales
February 1, 2009 ~ June 16, 2024
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved dog, Hoggle, who left us peacefully on June 16, 2024, at the age of 15. Hoggle was never a pet; he was a cherished member of our family, a constant source of happiness, and a faithful friend.
Born in February 2009, Hoggle brought an abundance of love and laughter into our lives from the moment he bounded into our home. He was ours from the minute we met him. His playful spirit, gentle nature, and unwavering loyalty were the hallmarks of his character. He had an uncanny ability to sense our moods, offering comfort during tough times and celebrating our happiest moments with us.
Hoggle’s favorite activities included acting like a human while being a couch potato and watching shows and movies with the family. He loved “sharing” the popcorn that fell from Mom and Presley. He also loved sitting by outdoor fires with Dad, and he never turned down a piece of bacon.
Throughout his life, Hoggle was a faithful companion, always by our side. His protective nature made us feel safe, and his loving demeanor knew no bounds. He had a special bond with each family member, offering unique moments of connection and love that we will forever cherish. We will always miss his presence and the sound of his feet on the wood floors of his forever home.
Hoggle is survived by his loving family: Rafael, Rozette, Presley and Lyra (the cat). Also two grandmas, a grandpa, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the countless happy moments he gave us and the everlasting love he left behind, along with the scratches etched on the front door from when he was too small to see outside the window but was always trying to.
Rest in peace, Hogglebutts, Hogg, Hogglejandro, Hoggglicious. You were truly our best friend, and you will be forever in our hearts, and we hope to see you again.
