Illeyia Nunley Lowrance

illeyia lowrance

Illeyia was a beautiful light colored calico, who shared her life with me. She had gone through hard times with having to share room with various lover’s animals, but she was always mine. She was very happy when it was just her and me. She loved to talk non-stop, loved to play, and loved to be loved. She was a curious animal who never hurt another life. It took my now husband 3 years to get her to warm up to him and from then on she laid in between us at night. Took naps with me in the daytime. Wherever I was in the house, she followed. When she started feeling ill, I took her into the vet’s office and she was diagnosed with chronic renal failure. Her appetite and thirst quickly diminished. I laid on the floor with her every night until her passing. She passed 4 days after her diagnosis while being loved on by me and my husband and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Goodbye, my love. We miss you everyday. We miss your meows, your purrs, looking into your gorgeous green eyes, and your unbelievably soft fur.
In loving memory of ILLEYIA
