Kona Adams

Our beloved Labrador Retriever, Kona, was laid to rest on April 23rd, 2019. His loyalty, friendship, love and companionship will be missed by all. Kona, at six weeks old was a token of friendship from San Angelo, TX. Little did we know, this black bundle of energy would change our lives forever. Kona enjoyed dove hunting, playing in the sprinklers, swimming, chasing lizards, truck rides to the ranch, and especially greeting and prancing for us with a toy that he had to carry everywhere. He was a loyal companion to our 3 boys as they grew up, entertained our 5 exchange students from different countries over the years, and in recent years our grandchildren. A steady companion for almost 14 years, Kona stayed by our side through family deaths and new grand babies getting introduced into our home. Not once did he complain of his pain or aging body. He suffered in silence as he didn’t want to disappoint. Rest in peace my old friend, you were truly one of a kind sent by angels to bring us joy, comfort and to teach us the true meaning of unconditional love. My big moose, we will miss you, thank you for all the memories and for being by our side all these years.
