August 1, 2009 ~ November 10, 2022
Our puppy Ladybird, born in August of 2009, was one of the most easy going, fun, and laid back family members we could have ever asked for. The runt in the litter and the most sweetest little puppy turned into a beautiful loving family dog that went on family vacations, trips to longhorn shows, and was there to greet each of her three new human family members. She was the perfect nanny. She was the best pillow to snuggle up next to. Her hair was such a beautiful red and she had eyes made of copper fields. She was born perfect and lived so very happy, with unconditional love to all. We will miss throwing balls. I will miss the occasional nose bump of “hey give me some of that snack you’re eating” or “hey, I need a head scratch and a kiss.” For years she was with us and graced us with absolute happiness and love. Lady you taught us so much. You gave us so much and never asked for a ounce of anything back. Thank you for standing by my side as I raised three little people. Thank you for loving us. I will forever miss you my companion.
