Luke Lopez

Luke Lopez was called to a better place this New Year’s Eve -Dec. 31, 2007. Luke was a wonderful dog who loved everyone and was loved by everyone. Although Luke did not quite make it to 11, he lived a remarkable 10 years. Luke new a variety of tricks; sit, lie down, speak, shake hands with his right and left paw, hi-five with both paws and how to approach a treat really slow. Luke even knew how to dance and the best trick of all; he knew how to say “I Love You!” Luke was an extraordinarily smart, compassionate and fun loving dog who brought so much happiness and joy to our lives and most importantly a loyal and faithful companion. This past summer (2007) Luke packed his suitcases and told dad to fill up the Mercedes because he wanted to travel and visit the family. Luke had never been out on vacation however, this past summer he traveled from San Antonio, TX to Orlando, FL, Pecos/Santa Fe, NM, & Phoenix, AZ. His nephew’s Gucci, Dolce and Rocky were able to meet their idol and many memories were made. Proud owner’s Christopher and Darlene Lopez have lost a one of a kind companion but know deep down in their hearts that Heaven has gained an angel.
