Luna Reyes

It’s no secret that our pets are family members, when they pass away the grief we experience at their loss is indescribable. For that reason I’m writing this post, to honor an amazing dog.

On Sep 29 2019 Luna died alongside me on my room at 2:30am. She decided that is was time to go. I had the opportunity to let her know how much we love her and how much she will be missed. Watching her go, was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to see. When she took her last breath I felt so scared and desperate, but now she is not suffering any longer. I have to accept that it was the last time I will see her beautiful eyes. Luna has been more than a friend; she was my loyal companion for six wonderful years and my shadow around the house. She was there to comfort me in my hardest moments of my life and was witness to the brightest. Luna became the protector of the house and our children. Thank you my Luna for teaching us that unconditional love can come in all shapes and forms. Go in peace, we will always love you my Luny Muny my baby my good Girl.
