I first got Mack when I got a divorce. My two daughters asked for a cat when we were at Central Park Mall. There was a pet shop there that had cats from the Animal Defense League on Nacogdoches. He was a small kitten about 6/8 weeks old. He turned out to be a large brown and back tabby that looked like a Main Coon; a furry, long haired coat. He could be sweet and loving and then territorial and temperamental. He knew when we were sad and just sat by us and comforted us and took care of us at a time when we needed him the most. As time went by the girls left for college and then on their own and he was there for me. I will miss him greatly and know he will be waiting for me. I loved him and he will always be part of my life. He was a wonderful pet and friend.
