Macy Brown

First, I want to thank the staff of Meadowlawn and All Paws for their kindness and sensitivity. Thank you with all my heart.

Macy left us on July, 6th, 2005 after bravely battling liver failure without even a whimper. She came to live with us in August of 2000 after being picked up off the streets of downtown San Antonio and being turned over to the Dachshund Rescue. Before I went to see if she was compatible with her future brother, I was told she had to warm up to new people. Not me. She came right to me and got along great with Satchel.

I was so blessed to have Macy in my life. She was my constant shadow, companion and protector. She had such a spunky and sweet personality and a prance in her walk that always made me smile.

I’ll miss you my sweet girl ! Love you always, Mom
