Maggie Lou Valentine

Maggie Lou Valentine was born on February 14, 2009 and went to the Rainbow Bridge on February 11, 2016. She was deeply loved (will always be loved) by her human parents, Jesse and Victoria, and her Shih Tzu sister, Ava. Maggie came to live with us when she was three months old. She was very smart and perceptive. She was potty trained in less than a week. When she was six months old, we hung a bell on the door and she soon learned to ring it when she wanted to go outside. She sensed when people were about to visit and would wait at the front door, alert, several minutes before anyone arrived. She always sensed when mommy or daddy were due home too and liked to be on the porch waiting to greet us. She enjoyed being outdoors, to walk or just lie in the sun and greet neighbors as they passed by. Maggie never met a stranger! Another favorite activity was to go shopping at the pet stores and make the rounds saying hello and checking everything and everyone out. She also loved to ride in the car, to sit in our laps with the window rolled down and put her little face to the wind. Maggie enjoyed private time too, to be by herself to think and dream. Maggie Lou is in God’s tender hands now. No more illness, no more injections, no more medicines, no more suffering. We love you, our Maggie.
