My Dearest Missy, you came into my life when I was on the verge of losing my life from a rare disease, and your life was just beginning. You cuddled up to me when the news of my illness seemed to offer no hope of my ever recovering. You accompanied us to research trials all over the country, until finally the doctors found the drug that could save my life. We have spent 12 and a half years with you being part of our lives and we all feel the emptiness of your passing. There is no where we can go that your memory will not find us. The last thing I whispered in your ear was: I am so very sorry that I cannot stop you from getting old.

Oh Miss, we will miss you forever. I will leave you now by telling you what we always told you when we would leave to go to work, we will see you later.
