Morgan Perry

Morgan Perry born February 17, 1991 passed away May 16, 2006 at the age of 15 years 3 months. I adopted him in February 1995, after his previous owner passed away. His name on his AKC registration certificate was Schnapps Von Morgan, but realizing this name did not fit his style he simply became Morgan Perry. He loved his new home, he would chase squirrels, raccoons, possums, armadillo and occasional cats for hours on end, in his large back yard. He always chased them, barked and howled but never hurt a single one of them. He was diagnosed in August 2001 with Glaucoma. Which resulted in the removal of his right eye In June 2003, about a year later the Glaucoma caused him to go totally blind in his left eye. Being totally blind did not stop him from anything. He still chased the squirrels and he knew his way around his yard, he knew just where he was and he knew if someone was in his yard. He passed away peacefully in his favorite spot under a big shady fig tree. Morgan taught me a lot about life, courage and determination. No matter what the situation just keep on trucking.
