Noelle
I am blessed and thankful that I can retire and claim San Antonio home. For the next sixteen years, you blessed me with your presence. You popped out your dad’s jacket, Merry Christmas! Noelle, you’re just about a year old, you crawl onto your dads shoulder and he drives you half way across Texas to show you off. There was no one who could refuse your charm.
We take you to where we were born and raised. He introduces you to his parents, Ken and Connie, they loved you, of course. You see the stretches of beach, we set you down on the sand and off you go as fast as your shorty little legs can take you. So much energy for such a little dog. When I took you for walks, you just kept wanting to go farther than the boys, so curious. Just a show off, swishing those back hips.
You are such a Texan (for a Chinese pug), the backyard swimming pool, beaches, camping at Canyon Lake, glamping on the shore of Calaveras Lake, and jet skiing? Yeah, check it out, please. Really. We will never forget. Ah, thank God for South Texas.
Baby girl was the best mother. I mean a litter of eight, I know! I watched them being born. And, her Mr. Daddy dog too, watching the newborns. Vet said watch mom and dad they could fight. Not you. Not Nickolas. A match made in heaven. You went from a princess to a Queen, I mean, having to feed you by hand? Spoiled! And, you think Luby’s is not for dogs? Is it can food, chicken breast, maybe lean burger? What do you prefer this mealtime? Eat. You need your insulin shot.
We watched you for years continue your daily routine and I don’t believe that slowed you down. The DM spinal problems, cataracts and visual problems, and diabetes, you fought through those. You blessed us, you working though your difficulties in your last years. Loving us as we loved you with all our hearts. So, we thank you baby girl. God gave us the best Christmas present, ever. Love you baby girl. Go to sleep and I’ll see you in the morning
