Oliver Post-Morley

January 26, 2017 ~ December 16, 2019
Oliver was no ordinary, stray tomcat. Ever since he was a tiny kitten, he had so much vivacity in his eyes. He radiated warmth and love. He treasured every head scratch and affectionate touch we could give him. He savored every morsel of food, but not before doing a happy tap dance with his gentle paws. His eyes were like gazing at the sunrise. He brought hope and light into our lives. Alexander and I wish our situation and circumstances had been different. We wanted to make you a permanent member in our family. You were there through some of the toughest moments in our lives as a couple, and you brought so much joy. Seeing you every day, waiting for us outside our door or on the patio patiently and having you greet us when we returned from work made coming home feel so much more important than it already was. Your voice, your love, your softness will all be missed. You were a beacon in a dark and stormy portion of our lives. It may not be how we wanted, but you will be with us forever in our hearts and memories. For your love has left a hole that cannot be filled, and we miss you more than you could know.
