Patches White

Our beloved Patches died on September 29, 2007. She was born on November 29, 1997 and was an important member of our family. She was loved by everyone that met her and will be missed. She loved people and going for walks in the neighborhood. Her favorite position was to lay on her back, so her stomach could be rubbed.

We think that she was responsible for adding years to our mother’s life. Mom lived with us and had survived a major stroke. After the stroke, Mom would just sit and stare. She did not seem to be able to speak. We did everything for her. When we brought Patches home, it was love at first sight. Patches would lick her face and lay in her lap, so that Mom could rub her stomach. It was not too long after Patches arrival that Mom was smiling and talking up a storm. She actually started taking care of herself and once again would socialize with her friends.

So, rest in peace our darling. In the ten years you were with our, you make a major impact on our lives. We will remember you forever.
