Percephoney Doolittle
“Kathryn Doolittle’s blood donation to the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center this holiday season is in loving memory of her recently departed feline companion, Percephoney. Percephoney came into Kathryn’s life ten years ago while she was still in high school. Percephoney loved seafood, especially shrimp, and was fond of most other “human food” meats and most kitty treats. Tending to the regal side, Percephoney rarely played, rather, she preferred to approach her humans and assume a noble pose until noticed. Through many hardships and beating the odds on numerous occasions, known better to her pet humans as Percy, the Siamese princess passed away on Tuesday, December 11th, 2012 at the tender age of 10 years young, while Kathryn was at the San Antonio office of her employer for training, despite normally working from home. A very unexpected passing, having been full of life and energy only that morning, Percy had just begun to make improvement from an illness that had plagued her for two years, after thousands of dollars in medicines and procedures. At this time, Kathryn simply wishes for prayers and well wishes for her beloved Siamese princess to find her way to the Rainbow Bridge to await the day when Kathryn arrives to take her home. Percephoney is survived by her mommy (Kathryn), her daddy (Kathryn’s fianc, Ansel), her brother, Khufu, and her grandmother (Kathryn’s mother).
