Polly Di Stefano - Hill

polly di stefano - hill

Polly died peacefully, alongside her moms and brother, Monday morning, January 21, 2019, under the care of Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital staff.

Polly had a rough start to life. When her moms found her on January 30, 2013 at just 8 weeks old, her ears were bleeding and it was later discovered that someone cut them off. Although Sara protested that they could not keep her because they lived in a studio apartment, it didn’t take long for her to realize that this insanely sweet puppy came along for a reason – ”Along Came Polly”. Despite the cruelty she endured, Polly was extremely loving and playful.

Polly quickly began building loving relationships with all those she came in contact with, especially her brother Freddie. Even though he was the older brother, it was Polly who took care of him. She was constantly grooming him, keeping him warm, and protecting him from that rascally squirrel in the back yard.

A lover of couches and cuddles, Polly had many hobbies. Some of her favorite activities included barking at passers by she saw through the window, bossing her big brother around, grunting like a pig, chewing her benebone, and doing tricks for treats.

Polly will be greatly missed by many, but none more so than her moms. Through thick and thin, they loved Polly with all their heart. And though the pain they feel without her is great, it cannot compare to having never had her in their lives. Besides her mothers, Polly leaves behind her brother Freddie.

At the family’s request, please give your fur baby/babies extra hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and treats today.

In lieu of sending flowers, please donate to your local animal rescue organization.
