Precious Brock

precious brock

Precious passed gently away on February 6, 2008. She was my best friend, loyal companion and faithful love for 15 years. Precious was sweet, charming, smart and funny. She was very friendly and always had a warm greeting for visitors. Preshy had a special attachment to her Gran (Dorothy) and visited her grandparents every day after we moved back to Del Rio. Precious stayed by my side and supported me through what I considered some hard times, especially over the last three years, but losing Preshy was worse than anything I could have imagined. I miss Precious painfully, but I will always treasure my many wonderful memories of my beloved bichon frise.

  1. Dear Precious, Thank you for your sweet face and temperment and seeing Karen thru such difficult times. We all are truly blessed by our pets unconditional love and the lessons they teach us here on earth. May you play and frolick in Heaven and remain close to Karen always. God Bless, Jamie and Weebo

  2. I had the privilege of meeting Precious Brock on a couple of occasions while her Momma was living in Phoenix. Precious was the perfect name for her as she was completely “Precious”. Cute beyond description and friendly as all get out! I’m sure there are dogs in heaven and Precious is once again young, frolicky and happy as any puppy could be! Karen, my condolences to you and may you smell puppy breath in your dreams.

  3. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I recently lost my own baby. Buddy was 12 1/2 when he passed over the Rainbow Bridge on May 28th. I hope this poem will be of comfort… Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…. Author unknown…

  4. My deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved Precious–how wonderful that you had her and she had you for so many years. SC

  5. Precious – You are a beautiful little lady and you have left your family some very sweet memories. Don’t forget to send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let your family know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I leave you with this quote, “heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you.” Author Unknown

  6. Precious lived up to her name–she was sweet, friendly, curious, loyal and loving. She was a precious gift to all who were lucky enough to have her in their life. I was lucky enough to have both Karen and Precious in my life. Precious was always full of joy, you just could not have a bad day when she crawled up on you covered you with love and kisses! She steadfastly watched over her mama, Karen, and loved her unconditionally. I know Preshy is in heaven, with my best friends Max and Ted, running, jumping, eating endless “treats” and never gaining weight! She’s our guardian angel, watching over us all, never leaving our hearts and living on in our “precious” memories. I know the loss can be overwhelming but remember, she’s always with you Karen. Our little Precious will always loyally and lovingly watch over you from heaven!

  7. Precious was many things, but one word couldn’t discribe how wounderful she was. She was spunky and very, very friendly. I met her when I was seven and it’s been four years and from the very first day I met her and Karen next door to us. All I remember was this cute curly white dog charging over to me,and let’s just say she can make a great first impression! I remember coming home from school and seeing that cute little face in the window so happy about life and just living in the moment, and that just made everything all right. She made everyone so happy. No matter what your day was like she was always there almost to say it’s ok-your here with us and that’s all that matters. I remember playing with her and she would run and run untill it got dark, if Precious could do it it would be done, and done with spunk! She was the best dog and had a great life. PS Karen-we love and miss you!

  8. Precious was my “Granddog”. We had a special bond forged when I spent a year with her and her “momma” during an illness. The bond was strengthened when she and my daughter moved back to Del Rio and we were able to visit daily. I miss her greatly, and think about her each day.

  9. Still missing you, little Precious. Mollie has been here for almost three weeks now, but your spirit remains in our home and your memory in my heart.

  10. CandleImageIt’s just after Valentine’s Day in 2022, Precious, and I still miss you so much. I am so glad we had our time together. ❤️🐾
