Rudy Gillespie

To call Rudy a dog or pet couldn’t be farther from the truth. He was our little angel from above. Our little buddy had so much love to give and he gave it every second of his life. In his early years he was full of entertainment and spunkiness. He would let us dress him up in anything and sit perfectly still. He would steal keys, eyeglasses, and whatever he knew was important to you. We swear he would do anything just to get you to smile or laugh. He loved to make everyone around him happy.

Some of his happiest days were spent at the lake on his boat with his family and his best friend, cuddle buddy, and soul mate, our female Pug Lily. The two of them became inseparable for 10 years.

Rudy had a rough last couple of years of life, but he would never wince, whimper, or complain, he just kept on fighting. He was our little tank. He had the biggest heart, and we believe that’s what kept him going.

Rudy was in our lives for 13 years and 20 days. He taught us how to smile, laugh, and live life with unconditional love. The truth is we all needed him a little more than he needed us. There will never be another Rudy here on earth, but he will live in our hearts forever!
