Shelby will be remembered by many. For Me (her momma) I will never forget how she was always there, by my side to comfort,be supportive, loyal and Loving. We had an intense bond. She and I would go to LBJ Park every morning. I would take her everywhere: Petsmart,Petco,Home Depot,Academy, the beach and of course to my friend’s house where she loved hanging out with their dogs Odie, Tracy and Gizmo. Shelby’s personality was full of life. She was always smiling, wanting to play, beat me to the door for a walk or hang out on the back porch. She slept anywhere she wanted. She was the Queen of the house. She had a unique bark,it fit her size, and she loved barking with other dogs while running up and down the fence line. Shelby loved looking up into trees for squirrels and birds. Catch “The Bug” was her one of her favorite things to do and occasionally bubbles. She had many toys. I would sit on the floor to throw so she would fetch. Her favorite was the rope, she showed off how strong she was. After all, she was a pinch of pit bull. She had lips and small puppy ears. Even as she aged, she looked like a puppy,Shelby would jump into the creek and retrieve sticks, sometimes bring back bigger logs. She made me very happy and will be intensely missed, R.I.P. love of my life,My Shelby.
