Sir Zakai De La Garza

October 2004 December 2015 Sir Zakai was a beloved family member that loved his owner unconditionally and endlessly. He always provided joy and all the love he could give with his morning kisses. He was brave and courageous, always on ‘possum patrol’ to protect his territory and his master. He was a nipper. Quick to respond by showing his teeth and growling. He also loved his blankets. Every morning he would go outside, take care of his business and then go straight to sucking his favorite blankets. He enjoyed his biscuits beef jerky and his Milk-Bone Mar-O-Snacks in the a.m. and p.m. every single day. He looked forward to his daily walks around the neighborhood full of energy and zest for life. Oh but when it rained, thundered and there was lightning, he would run into his owner’s arms quivering and shivering until it was over. Stormy weather for Sir Zakai, provided extra loving and bonding for the owner which was such a treat! He leaves so many fond memories with the De La Garza Family and he is missed so very much. Life is not the same without him. He will be forever loved, cherished and remembered as the “Mobile Pom-Pom” who loved traveling and was always ready to go the moment he heard his leash rattle. Sir Zakai was a beautiful boy who has left a permanent love imprint in his Master’s heart. Words are hard to come by that describe the great missing void Sir Zakai has left. “Until We Meet Again At The Rainbow Bridge” says it best as life goes on without beloved Sir Zakai.
