Snoopy Latimer

snoopy latimer

Snoopy was one year old when he was rescued by a new couple who thought they were prepared for the energy of a one year old puppy. Things at first were rough in our small one bedroom apartment. Too smart for his own good, he learned how to climb the kitchen drawers in order to get over a baby gate. He then proceeded to chew the tube of a camelbak staining the carpet with blue gatorade and tore up the carpet by the front door. Life of a military family quickly caught up to them as Dad was constantly being sent to lands far away. Initially the transition was rough but he quickly became the constant in Moms life helping her get through those lonely nights. He was rewarded for his love and affection in 2007 when the family moved to Texas where he got a doggy door and a backyard to run freely in. For 14 years he was a part of the family going through four deployments, one cross country move and the introduction of twin babies but in the end, age simply caught up to him. He deserved to go in peace and on July 2nd, 2018 we had to let Snoopy go. He will always be missed and forever loved.
