Tiger Ibarra

April 28, 2001 ~ September 12, 2014
To my faithful companion Tiger, we will never forget you. In certain terms you were my first child. You were a rescue kitten found in an Army Post and on the brink of death. Once nursed back to health, you were my constant companion as my husband was deployed to Iraq. I remember feeling your warm little body by my side, as I awoke to nightmares in the middle of the night, which helped me feel at ease and relieved that I was not alone. And as I sat alone in a quiet apartment while my husband was in the field and the doctor called and informed me that I was pregnant with my first child, you were there sitting next to me in celebration as well, meowing your little famous broken meow which made me smile. Soon, you became my toddlers very patient and loving friend and companion as well. You followed us from state to state and traveled the long hours through dangerous interstate highways throughout the United States for over 10 years. When my world would was in chaos you would always jump up onto my lap and comfort me with your warm and reassuring eyes. It is as if you knew when we needed you most. You were our constant companion but your were in so much pain in the end. This is why we made the difficult decision to help you return to heaven. We knew this decision would stop all the pain and suffering you were going through for the past year. You gave us so much, this was the least we could do for you. We love and miss you Tiger. Rest in Peace my friend. When the Lord permits, we will see each other once more.
