The most dedicated, loving, smart, guardian a family can have. You entered my life as a little standoffish little puppy who did not like to meet new people. However, from the first moment we met you chose me to be your mommy. During these past fourteen years you have been my best friend, protected me and been with me through many seasons of change, in my life and family; always loving and protecting everyone. As the family grew your heart grew and you loved everyone as your own pups. When we got new fur babies you taught them how to behave and you loved them the same as you loved me. You touched everyone who came into my family with your love and your kindness. You brought many happy moments to my life like the first time saw a horse on a hiking and trail and looked at me like, “mommy how am I supposed to protect you from that…” or when you would jump up real fast and bark out the car window at someone who did not know you where there and they were surprised. You taught me to persevere and continue going in the face of tragedy not giving up, nine years ago, when you were struck by a car. You did not give up through the whole ordeal, you kept going, loving, and wanting to be strong for me, even with your many stitches and a cone of shame on your head you were not going to keep us all safe. Even in your last moments of life you were happy to lay in your bed surrounded by your family. You were one of those amazing miracle dogs that people talk about getting once in a lifetime. You have gone on to heaven and now the whole family here is sad because our hearts are full of the love you showed for us.
You will always be in our hearts
