Squirrel Verrips

Squirrel was born April 12, 2002 along with 5 siblings. We were only going to keep one from that litter and my choice was Squirrel, one of the girls. Of course my husband wanted to keep one of the males so we kept two. The males name is Tuff which we still have running around our home. Squirrel loved to run and play outside but being a Jack Russell we had to keep close tabs on her when she was out. They will dig their way out or jump a fence if left alone. Her favorite thing was watching Animal Planet and stalking the animal on the screen then jumping at the screen thinking she could catch it! Not only did it entertain her but also kept us laughing! In the last couple of months her health had been deteriorating and treatments weren’t helping, she was losing weight and very frail. We decided that we had to let her go, it was very heartbreaking but Sayers Animal Hospital were so understanding and helped us get through this rough time. We miss her but know she is frolicking over the Rainbow Bridge
